Chat with me

Hello! My name is Katie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Orange County, California. I have over 20 years of experience working with children, youth and families. I have worked in a variety of settings, spending the last 8 years with children and families in a school setting. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, and exploring new things. I have recently began participating in obstacle course races and find it a great stress reliever! My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe environment for adolescents to explore their feelings, emotions, coping skills and set personal goals. The goal of each session is to assess and refine coping skills, behavior management, build insight, motivate, encourage with the ultimate goal to empower adolescents towards a happy, successful, fulfilled life. My strategy is to meet clients where they are, engage them in setting therapeutic goals, applaud successes and encourage implementing new skills.
