I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Art History and then attended Pepperdine University to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have worked in residential treatment for adolescents for the pets 7+ years. During my time working in treatment, I have committed my energy to direct service of youth and organizational support to the treatment team. I thrive in working with teens as I believes that adolescence is a pivotal stage in life and that youth have the capacity for immense change and power in creating futures for themselves. Witnessing the effectiveness of residential care, in helping youth learn to overcome the effects of depression, anxiety, self-harm, and other emotional health issues, was a big part in the deciding fact to go back to school to get my masters. I have a passion for art, creativity, and helping others find connection and hope in their lives. I enjoy working with adolescents who are tying to figure out and navigate life. School troubles? Lets come up with a plan. Tough parents? Let’s chat bout it. Dealing with a break up? Let’s find joy in life again. I want to be a part of this journey with you as it can be lonely and scary.
