I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychotherapy from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. I graduated in 2013. Since graduation, I have worked as a trainee at The Salvation Army Homeless shelter providing therapy to the homeless and as an Intern, I have worked for a wide variety of clients. I have worked with people with severe mental illness in an independent home. I have worked with children in crisis, traveling to their homes and acting as case manager as well as a clinician. I have worked as an outpatient drug rehabilitation center and I have also worked for an independent psychologist doing psychological evaluations to determine competency to stand trial. I have also completed a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego and graduated in April 2020. I have owned and operated my own practice and worked for several other practices as a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, treating patients for anxiety, depression, digestive issues, infertility and pain. I am passionate about health and healing and love working with people’s psychology. For fun, I love to hike in nature with my dogs, swim in the ocean, do pilates, connect with friends and travel.
